Symptoms of Depression

3 Minute Depression Test

Symptoms of Depression are common, affecting 10-40% of people who see their doctor. Feeling temporarily down is not unusual and is different to clinical depression.

Depression can make you feel isolated and usually there is more than one cause of it.
It can be a reaction to something such as bereavement, divorce, redundancy or financial worries. It can also be the consequence of a physical condition such as a poor diet, lack of physical fitness or illnesses.

Depression and Anxiety often go hand in hand and are common conditions worldwide. In some cases, depression can lead to anxiety and vice versa.

Depression is the leading cause of disability all over the world, and it is estimated that around half of the population will experience a mental health condition sometime during their life.

Both, depression and anxiety can be controlled, either by medication, but often, applying simple life strategies offer the difference that will make the difference!

Can depression and anxiety be cured? Of course only your medical practitioner can tell you that, but the feedback we receive from 17 years of training and coaching is ‘I feel much better’ and ‘My depression is gone’.
